What a great weekend!

Mom came to VA this past weekend to visit and she just left this morning. I miss her already! It was so nice to have her here since I haven't seen her since Christmas...that's just too long! So while she was here we were very busy!

So with mom's help, we have officially registered at Babies R Us. I am sure we forgot somethings but at least we have a good start. That store is so overwhelming, especially for a first time mom. There are just so many things! Is it really necessary to have 100 different kinds of bottles! We also went to the Motherhood Maternity store and bought some maternity clothes since I have yet to do that. Thanks mom for the clothes! And thanks dad and Renee' for the gift card to buy clothes...it sure came in handy!

We got the crib last week and Josh and I put it up. We really like it! Thanks Herb and Linda for the crib!! We are now working on the room. We started painting this weekend and hopefully Josh and I will finish this week. I'll post some pictures when it's all done.

So I must have caught a cold because I have been steadily getting worse. Stuffy nose, sore throat, itchy eyes...the usually cold! It's no fun being pregnant and sick...since I can't take anything! Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Well, I hope everyone had a great weekend...I sure did! Miss you already mom! :)

Week 26

Happy Easter! I hope that everyone had a great Easter Sunday. Josh and I really enjoyed our day, even though it was cold and windy here today (what else is new). We went to church and then ate dinner with Paul, Lauren and Jacob.
I apologize for not keeping up with this like I should. We have had a very hectic last couple of months and it is finally over! Meaning...our house is finally back in order! We spent the weekend cleaning and getting things back to normal. Now we can focus on Madison's room and getting the house ready for her. My mom is coming on Friday to take me shopping and register for what Josh and I need. I need her help since I really don't have any idea what all to get! They only make 100 different bottles!

Madison is steadily growing. I think we both get larger everyday! She is very active and loves to move around, especially when I'm relaxing. I love to feel her kicking and turning...it honestly is one of the most amazing feelings. Josh has been able to feel her for the past few weeks and he really likes that! I am feeling great...except for my back. It tends to hurt after being on my feet all day.

I will try to post things more regularly now that I have one less thing to worry about. Enjoy the new pics!
